John Estey - President
John Estey leads Stonebridge Lease Financing Solutions, overseeing marketing, structuring, and lease facility administration. With extensive experience in credit and lease financing, he has held senior credit, syndication, and commercial banking roles at major financial institutions, including ABN Amro, CitiBank, and ScotiaBank. John holds a Bachelor of Arts from Acadia University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario.
Fan Zhang - Vice President
Fan Zhang joined Stonebridge in 2016 as part of the portfolio administration team, quickly taking on additional responsibilities and management roles. In 2019, he transitioned to the Bulk Lease Financing team to support the President and is now part of the management team that is structuring and closing new transactions and managing the bulk lease financing portfolio. Previously, Fan worked in origination, underwriting and post-investment management of real estate development projects at a private investment firm in Los Angeles. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, specializing in Accounting, from the University of Toronto.
Franca Albernaz - Vice President
Franca Albernaz has been with Stonebridge since 2008, progressing through several roles. She is responsible for internal and independent site audits, portfolio monitoring, and general administration of bulk lease financing portfolios. With numerous years of experience in the leasing and financing industry, she has extensive knowledge in areas such as documentation, funding, KYC compliance, and business continuity. Franca holds a Computer Programming and Operating Diploma and is an Associate of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
Lucian Ban - Funding Manager
Lucian manages the funding operations at Stonebridge, leveraging his rich background in finance and banking to oversee the funding process and ensure its smooth execution. His career spans roles in funding, loan restructuring, and relationship management. With expertise in portfolio management and customer-centric strategies, Lucian brings his skills and versatility to the team. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest.
Sebastian Stricker - Portfolio Administrator
Sebastian Stricker is the Portfolio Administrator at Stonebridge, handling lease portfolio reporting and overseeing accounting-related tasks. With a degree in Commerce from McMaster University, he specializes in data analysis and financial reporting, making him a key contributor to the company’s lease financing operations.
